Miraculous Blessing

Having lost his precious wife Joan to Alzheimer's disease Alan Monteith lives with his purring praying Kitty in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As a writer evangelist and celibate monk Alan served Catholic parishes in the midwest and on the west coast for sixteen years. Stepping down from the clerical pedestal in the summer of 75 Alan married within the church. Twenty years ago Alan retired from the insurance business to devote more of his time to writing and speaking about adult spirituality and the process of inner healing. Drawing from the wisdom of the Bible and his own religious experience Alan is convinced the incarnate Word comes to us not only through the preached word, the shared word, and the enacted word but also beyond the cloister and between the cracks: in the wilderness...by the lakeside...on the mountaintop...in the valley...and behind closed doors.
